"Work is progressing well on the repair and renovation of Harrow’s 36 tennis courts across 13 parks.
Contractors have been on site for the past six weeks cleaning, resurfacing, and installing new gates. We are now ready to move to the next stage, which is to spray paint the courts listed below green, with the surrounding areas blue, before new white lining of the courts goes down.
The court surfaces need to ‘cure’ before the painting gets underway, which means nobody can use the courts while this important process embeds. Painting and lining of the courts is due to be completed by early May depending on weather conditions. This essential step means six of our tennis court sites have had new surfaces completed and are now curing, and access gates will be locked from Friday 14 April until early May."
